What's with the name?
Yelo Graphics—aka—Yelo Creative Group
Our company was named by our Founder and President, Suzanne Ziemba. Before she started Yelo Creative Group, she worked for high-end printers and marketing agencies responsible for completing print and advertising projects for Fortune 500 companies.
Answering the phone was always a quick and simple process, meant to take up as little time as necessary.
Suzanne would answer the phone by saying, “Hello, Graphics, this is Suzanne?” As the stress level increased throughout the day, the greeting became shorter and shorter, and using her midwestern accent she would chime, “Yel-O, Graphics?"
In 2010, we decided to change our name because "graphics" seemed too limiting. Especially since we offer so much more than "only" graphic design. We are now Yelo Creative Group—but we can still answer the phone with "YEL-O?!"
Our name comes from a simple greeting, and it helps us keep a smile on our face when the stress level gets too high.
